Statistics: Russia’s July platinum group metals output falls 8.9%

MOSCOW, Aug 20 (PRIME) -- Russia’s output of unrefined and semi-refined or powder platinum and platinum group metals fell by 8.9% on the year and rose by 3.7% on the month in July, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Thursday without disclosing absolute figures.

Silver output rose by 2% on the year and went down 3.7% on the month.

In January–July, the output of platinum and platinum group metals decreased by 8.1% and of silver remained unchanged.
